Color me so we can blend

erika_gerdemark_photography3 Today I got home from France after shooting Jourdan and Sonias' wedding. France is a country that I love more and more for each time I'm there working. Also this time I was staying in Segur le Chateau, one of France most prettiest medieval villages.

The headline refer to a song by Sophie Zelmani that I love and that I feel is somehow connected to the photos. "Dreamer" is just what my photography is when I can decide just on my own what to photograph.

My biggest thanks to the family Heinig/Holmes, the owners of Chateau la Durantie.

My home in France

erika_gerdemark_photography1 Entering this house is magical and inside me inspiration is coming to me like a wave. I'm lucky that I had the opportunity to call this my home last time I was in France. Segur is a small picturesque village in the middle of France. Every single day I woke up happy looking at my new tattoo on my left arm.

Walnut reportage in France

erika_gerdemark_photography_1erika_gerdemark_photography_2 One year goes very fast and it's autumn again. Working with magazines often means that you photograph the work a very long time before it get published. One of my best memories from last year was when I did a travel reportage together with a journalist in France. We were traveling in the Dordogne area visiting walnut producers, eating great typical walnut food and got some amazing views over the French countryside. Read the entire reportage in the latest issue of the Swedish magazine Lantliv.
