The spring in Lund with lily of the valley, Alice’s favorite flower, and the best music I’ve ever experience at a wedding. Alice Teodorescu got married to Henrik Måwe in Lunds domkyrka May 25th. With celebrations at Hypoteket their day was fairytale-ish. Majestic, warm and absolutely lovely. Here are some of my favorites from their day.

July 16th was a rainy day in Arild, just outside Helsingborg. Britta & Jens got married in a cute little chapel while the rain was poring down outside. But just before the ceremony we managed to photograph some photos when the umbrella was just hidden from my camera angle.
Marlene and Steven got married in Skåne August 18th. We found some great spots for the portraits and I have to say that I really love the nature in Skåne. Just outside Genarp they celebrated their Swiss-Swedish wedding at Häckeberga slott.
To photograph a fearless couple means a lot. A couple who just don't want the classical shots, who can walk in high grass and still have great energy. That is Marlene and Steven. They gathered their family and friends for a Swedish castle wedding. Based in Switzerland we had only done a Skype meeting before their wedding weekend. I flew to Malmö the day before their wedding and during Friday we had some time together to scout the locations. The wedding ceremony took place in the garden and after a little mingle we had some more time to get some more photos in the castle surroundings. I had specially found an old green door that I had felt in love with and luckily Marlene and Steven liked it too.
Thanks Marlene (my bangs buddy) and Steven!
Marlene and Steven got married yesterday in Skåne. I was amazed about the location we found for the portraits just near the castle Häckeberga slott. The most important thing was that we had plenty of time for the portraits and a bride who didn't mind to walk in high grass with the wedding dress and climb up a hill in very warm weather. As a photographer you got to love that!
There is so much a little fringe can do. For some reason I felt connected to Marlene and her bang (among other things). I guess it's like to meet a stranger on the street wearing the same pink skirt from H&M as you. That silly. But the fact is the recipe for great portrait photos is connection, a relaxed couple and plenty of time. More photos to come.
