New York was fun! But there was something with San Francisco that attracted me even more. I liked the hills, the victorian houses in pastel colors, the tramcars and the fog over the Golden Gate bridge. In the end of March I was honored to photographed Katie & Ryan's wedding at Cavallo Point, just outside San Francisco and next to the Golden Gate bridge.
When I first met Katie and Ryan was when they picked me up a few days before the wedding at the hotel downtown in San Francisco. They took me for a ride and guided me in the town and showed me the wedding location and also the location for the rehearsal dinner that was held in Sausalito. After a very nice dinner with the bridal couple at Cavallo Point I just had a very warm feeling in my heart. The way they told me their story really moved me and I realized I had just met a very romantic and fun couple.
The wedding day was framed by a navy blue and coral theme. Katie had even bought some rubber boots in coral in case of rain. And it did rain, but that was just in the end of the portrait session just before everyone were seated for dinner. I can't believe that it was room for me and my equipment in the back seat of that little red car. It must have looked quite fun!
Thank you Katie & Ryan for being one of the most wonderful couples I've ever meet. I hope that we can met soon again in San Francisco or in Sweden!
