The year 2012
It's quite scary to make a summary of a year. This is it, the result. But it's also fun and very good to have a moment of thoughtfulness, thankfulness and it gives me a lot of motivation to do better in 2013. I wish I could explain how much heart I put in every wedding I do. I'm a romantic perfectionist. I think those of you who know me and understand the post processing in my work also understand that it takes a lot of time to create my photos. Like I told the attendees at my workshop in France that I did for 60 French photographers in April - I can only compete with quality and the artistic point of view, not the amount of photos.
I love both Twitter and Instagram. Don't forget to go follow me! I'm sharing many things from the photo shoots but also from my everyday life and links to my favorite music (soul, jazz and hiphop). Of course you can also follow me on Facebook.
I would like to thank all my clients during 2012 that made it possible for me to work another year with my dream.
This is a list of the past in 2012 and a bit of what the future will bring.
Most scary thing: It's definitely to speak in front of 60 professional photographers in France. I was so nervous, but it turned out great. I really challenged myself and afterwards I felt so proud.
Most unforgettable in Paris: To sit alone outdoors with a cup of coffee at Champs Élysées waiting for the right light for a night shot a day in January.
One day I was lucky: When I boarded the plane to Bali for a wedding and brought my dad as my travel company. It was a great experience for my dad since the last time he did a trip like this was in the 80's when he went to London. I grew up in Sweden during the summer vacations in a caravan. To give dad the chance to see the world was overwhelming for me and I am forever grateful.
I'm hooked on: Instagram.
Some of my inspiration sources: Vintage dresses, old frames, hyacinths, fashion magazines, open landscapes, pasel colors, hiphop music, empty roads and owls.
Feature coming up: A work that I've done with a stylist that will be featured soon in the magazine Femina.
Most fun editorial shoot: All the photo shoots and traveling for the magazine RES. It's so fun to work with them since the magazine have a great artistic ambition.
Best memory from the network weddingphotographers.se: A dinner night at Anna Roström's house. I'm very thankful for the girls support.
Best songs released: Walk on by - El Perro Del Mar & Drift away - Chords
Must fun company shoot:Happycamper Motion Design.
I'm thankful for: To had the chance to get to know Veronica & Steve. They found me through Twitter and I photographed their wedding in May which was my first wedding in Bali. Now they feels like my ambassadors in Indonesia, like a cherry blossom tree that can grow even bigger.
Most emotional: The late nights.
When I had to pinch myself in the arm: My first longboard lesson with Girls On Concrete in a garage in January. Big up to Kristian Löveborg who didn't knew us at all but said yes to be our teacher. All this happend because of Twitter. You can read the entire story here and follow my skating adventures.
I'm honored to: Do another workshop in France in February and for the workshop requests that have been poping up from other European photographers after the announcement.
Most challenging: To drive on the left hand side when I did a wedding on Ireland.
I can't believe: I've found love after 4 years as a single.
One thing I would not do next year: To photograph with such uncomfortable shoes. (One thing I promised last year too).
My goal with 2013: Find harmony, work more with a stylist for the magazines and develope the work in Indonesia and the rest of the world.
Dreaming of: To have my own club since I love music and it's a big part of my emotional life.
I would love to do: More portraits for magazines.
A song that will be played on my own wedding: The opera "Hjertets melodier" by Edvard Grieg. When I heard this song at a wedding I photographed many years ago preformed by two people from the Swedish Royal Opera I started to cry.
You can see some of my wedding favorites below. A new portfolio will soon my live here on my website, so stay tuned to view all the magazine and portrait work I've done during 2012.

All the best for 2013 and thanks for the support!
